The measure of a program should be what it achieves for its students when they transition into the "real world" of national and international filmmaking.
Although The Berkeley Digital Film Institute is a relatively new program, the results achieved by current and recent former students of Berkeley Digital Film Institute are somewhat exceptional; we feel they speak for themselves.
Within the past 24 months, recent graduates have achieved the following:
Film Festivals:
20 student films were accepted into thirteen major film festivals including;

The Clonmel Irish International Film Festival (Won, Student Category)
National Television:
Jodi Martinson and her colleagues have won a National Emmy award for their Frontline documentary on Ghana.
MTV Music Videos:
Recent BDFI students have Directed 5 videos for Justin Bieber, 8 videos for Chris Brown, 3 videos for .50 Cent, 3 videos for Sean "Puffy" Combs, and have acted as Directors of Photography for "30 Seconds to Mars" and at least 20 other major acts.
They have been nominated for 5 MTV Video Music Awards; including 3 videos for Best Hip Hop, Best Male Reformer, and Best Collaboration; 1 for Best Cinematography, and 1 for Best New Performing Artist, and have won for Best Male Performer, for Justin Beiber's "U Smile".
Feature Films:
Students in this program worked for a year on "IronMan 2" at Industrial Light and Magic.
