Saul Zaentz and Company

Peter Burns writes:
I ran into Mr. Saul Zaentz in the elevator again. I asked if it was okay for me to share a car with him. He said it would cost me $11.00 (about the price of a movie theater ticket). I told him I did not have it but he let me ride to Berkeley Digital’s second floor anyway.

Eric and Kate saw Francis Ford Coppola at the Zoetrope Café in San Francisco. Patrick met (Pixar) at a screening at SZMC last month. Mark Berger (4 Oscars) is lecturing this semester as is Dr. Andy Newell (“The Wild” Sound Supervisor). There are more Northern California legends here at Berkeley Digital Film Institute every day. I’m proud to be a Northern California filmmaker and I’m glad that Berkeley Digital Film Institute is here for me to soak up the Legacy.
